Francoise Stevens is a friendly lady photographer who operates from her studio in Lightwater, Surrey. Francoise is a specialist in wedding photography and lifestyle portraiture, capturing the glamour, excitement and emotion of the wedding day and providing sensitive and enduring portraits of children and adults.
When francoise went to the Focus on Imaging Exhibition in February, she was immediately struck by the acrylic pictures on show at the Acrylic Pictures stand. In fact she was so excited by what she saw that she immediately sent off a portrait she had taken of her own daughter to be printed on to acrylic. This print now has pride of place in her studio and is so placed on a wall that it is the first thing that clients see when they emerge from a photographic session. Clearly, Francoise's instinct about these prints is sound, as her clients are immediately struck by it and make comments like "Gosh, how lovely!"

| In fact, such is Francoise's enthusiasm when describing the prints that she has sold some simply on description, without clients actually seeing an example. They are never disappointed! Feedback from her clients has all been positive. Francoise describes the typical acrylic picture buyer as "discerning and fashion concious". She believes that the pictures are realistically priced and that, although some clients still, and perhaps always will, prefer canvas, those with a more contemporary eye recognise the new medium as something special.
To date, all acrylic prints ordered have been of children, but Francoise is keen to aquire one of a bridal scene to display in her studio so that she can demonstrate to bridal couples the kind of stunning artwork that would be a lasting momento for them too. She says she believes that they are " a real alternative to canvas wraps and much more lively. They are so contemporary and so beautiful. I am very happy with them and so are my clients". She adds, "if I could, I would have them on all my walls at home!"
