Ana Rocha is a full time lifestyle photographer based in Aberdeenshire. She works with children and their families primarily outdoors. She travels to different locations and her approach is very casual. There are no poses involved. She aims to capture children as they are and she uses the language of play to connect with the children. The quality of her images, comes from her academic expertise in Sociology of Childhood and a solid photography training done in Canada.
To pair the style and quality of her images, Ana carefully chooses creative and unique mediums to display her work. Ana believes that the best match for her pictures is acrylics. Acrylic is a "live" and dynamic medium which provides a sense of playfulness and timeless. Her clients get very emotional when they first see their pictures on Perspex.
